Hey There, I'm Pauline!

I am a chocolate loving, coffee chugging, taco Tuesday cheese-aholic pizza fanatic. I'm obsessed with all things food - cooking, eating, talking about it non-stop, shopping for it, taking pictures, writing about it and even have dreams about it. I have way too many gadgets, far too many pans, baking dishes, utensils, serving platters, bowls, and cute little dessert dishes that all have a purpose in my life. Oh and the cookbooks.....

I'm a happily married gal! I met my English dream boat in an Irish bar that wasn't in Ireland, and not long after we were married by a wizard in Las Vegas (not that we are into wizards, he was just the only guy available on that day at the Excalibur Hotel). We have three grown sons who are the best kids on the planet (aside from yours of course). Those four guys are my world. Period.

Weekday breakfasts for our boys was always fun, they share my same love of breakfast being not just cereal. I would get creative (breakfast pizza anyone?) which was very motivating for them to get up! A big Sunday breakfast/brunch was always a big thing in our house, lots of food, sports on TV, and just the right amounts of mayhem and chaos. I had a favorite egg pan which was always very busy on Sundays because everyone likes their eggs differently. I was for sure a short order cook cranking out eggs for the boys (and their friends, we were THAT house)! Those days were the best and man do I miss them, making those eggs, everyone together in the kitchen. This is the thought and love behind The Busy Pan. Here I can share with you my easy and fun breakfast, brunch, lunch and dessert recipes I've created over the years that won't break the bank.
